When you have low back pain, headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, carpal tunnel, stress, asthma, allergies, difficulty sleeping, fatigue, menstrual cramping, muscle pain, injuries, etc. What do you usually do? Is it Advil, Allieve, Tylenol, or Ibuprophen that you reach for? Viox-(oops just recalled!) Most of us usually pop the pill for a temporary relief, until the next time. And most of the time, there usually is a next time. Right? But wouldn't it be great to actually find out what's causing the problem to begin with, and then fix that?
Symptoms are the result of having an underlying problem. By masking the symptoms with pills, this allows the problem to continue and get worse in the long run. Let's not ignore that pills have side effects too, damaging other parts of our bodies.
Why do we treat our cars better than our bodies? If you're driving along and you see the red warning light come on, most people don't continue to drive around. You immediately go to your mechanic and say "What's up?" God forbid you get stranded anywhere. I don't know anyone who ignores that red light in their car. But, I know many people who ignore the warning signs in their bodies. It is not normal to have pain. It is there as an indicator that something is not right. Remember we have one body in our life time, but many cars. Don't ignore your warning light because you're too busy.
