Dr. Orlasky combines Chiropractic, Functional medicine and Classical Acupuncture to provide a comprehensive approach to treating the body as a "whole". This provides the optimum results for her patients, helping them to achieve their health goals.
Dr. Orlasky is caring and friendly, who will listen to your concerns, and will take the time to explain her findings. She will design an individualized treatment plan to restore your health.
She began her education of chiropractic as a patient herself in her early 20's and feels this is a blessing as this gives her personal insight to how her patients feel going through each step of their treatment; their concerns, fears and hopes.
Dr. Orlasky is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and the Acupuncture Society of America. She has been in practice for over 15 years, licensed in four states and has practiced in Australia and Ireland. She is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association and supports the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research.
Dr. Orlasky continues her education in functional medicine studying the works of Dr. Datis Karrazian, writer of "Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms, When All My Lab Tests Are Normal?" On a personal note, Autoimmune Thyroid runs in her family, therefore she has extensive understanding of Thyroid disorders and treatment.
She is trained in many techniques: Diversified, Gonstead, Activator, Flexion Distraction Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture (no needles/great for kids), trigger point therapy, sports chiropractic and extremity adjusting.
